A b o u t

num num was created from a long obsession with felt and
creating little things from it.

The word itself comes from my first daughter, Olivia and her
love of her dummy. The day it was removed, I was faced with
a terribly upset and tearful (then 3 year old) calling out for her
'dum dum' which through all the tears sounded like the word
'num num'. The 'dum dum' was lost forever but 'num num'
lives on!

Today, num num is sold via homemade websites and also
via this website (and plenty of word of mouth!).
